🌱 Hyperdome Community Garden
Established in 2016, the Hyperdome Community Garden was created with a vision to provide a sustainable, not-for-profit space where locals can grow fresh produce, share knowledge and enjoy the benefits of community gardening.
The garden offers a safe and welcoming environment where members, affectionately known as harvesters, can:
-
Plant and grow seasonal crops
-
Participate in gardening activities
-
Connect with others
-
Enjoy a peaceful, communal green space

🤝 Community Partnerships
Hyperdome proudly partners with local not-for-profit organisations to ensure our community garden’s fresh produce continues to make a positive impact.
Our beloved hens provide freshly laid eggs, which are donated to community groups and charities supporting locals doing it tough. Many longtime garden members also receive eggs as part of our commitment to fostering a supportive, community-focused environment.
Through these partnerships, we hope to bring people together, encourage sustainable living and strengthen community connections.
We’re also proud to support Rural Aid, one of Australia’s largest rural charities, through ongoing monthly donations to Bottles for the Bush. This initiative helps farmers and rural communities who are affected by natural disasters such as drought, fires and floods.
Every contribution helps provide essential assistance to the people who help feed our nation.
☀️ Our Rooftop Solar System
Solar power is shining brightly at Hyperdome!
In early 2022, we completed the installation of one of the largest rooftop solar systems in the southern hemisphere, developed in partnership with Yurika.
Did you know:
-
12,000 solar panels installed across the rooftop
-
When placed end-to-end, the panels would stretch approximately 26km
-
They generate enough energy to power more than 1,000 homes for an entire year
-
Equivalent to taking 2,800 cars off the road
This significant investment marks a major step in reducing our carbon footprint and supporting sustainable energy solutions for the future.
